procurement refers to all activities involved with obtaining items from a supplier; this includes purchasing, but also inbound logistics such as transportation, goods-in and warehousing before the item is used.

Current process


Explanation:
The old process is the start from inspection ,the company check the situation of the stationary,then make the decision whether to make the order or not, then do the order,because the employees do not have the choice to select what they are given  and the HR has trouble with identifying the employees' information.So after the delivery, the product stored in the warehouse then distribute to the employees.Then according to the different demand of different employee, after distribution ,the left stationary is transported to the warehouse again.

Re-design process




Explanation:

This new process the outsource company make the system for doing the stationary management.Then the company do the inspection check the employee need the stationary or not, the make the decision.Once the decision is made to order products, there is the electronic catalog to search the demanded product,then order them. The product transported by the suppliers ,there is a delay ,once the product delay ,the company would inspect the delay reason then solve the problem.Then the arrived product will stored in the warehouse,then the the notification is given to different department ,like the account department, after receiving the notice, the payment will be done. After that , the stationary will distributed to the employees according to the demand in the database.Then the process is divide in to two directions,one is update the system and database,another is the employee will be asked to give the feedback which about the quality and satisfactions of the products.

According to the “wave of change”, (Chaffey, 2009, p.194) we can know that pop culture change most frequently in the environment. So the popularity of the Apple products influence the customers perceptions in purchasing the commodities.
To Apple products, it is quite popular among students and young people. Among the users of Apple, the most popular topics are the new application and new games and latest songs even movies.
Although it is this kind of popular, there are the people do not have the tend to buy it or to use it.
1.      Cost
Some people are interest in apple products, however some people can not afford to buy.
On the other side, downloading the albums and games is also need to be paid.
Accordingly, this part of customer is potential consumers.
2.      Ease of use
Some ladies and older people are think the apple products are not useful for them, they are not interest in new technology and applications. Some think it is hard to use itunes to download, the process is complex.

    Iphone became the most popular product among all kinds of products, but like IPad is not as affordable as iphone because of the higher cost as iphone.
   -Application downloading and maintenance
Not every customers can afford everything on ITunes, customer usually focus on the most popular games and the target albums which they like. If the application and games can be supplied in a lower prise or some discounts, that is the key point to attract more customer to consume on Apple products.


Technological

The most attractive aspect of Apple is his perfect combination of different electronic products.
At the same time, a variety of interesting application and games, the small iphone can provide thousand functions for work, life and fun.
Although, innovation of the technology also aims to reduce the prise of product to make it more available for more customers, In addition, develop more functions is the sustainable determination of Apple. There is no doubt; some customers are looking forward to the Iphone5 and Ipad 2.

Its mission is bringing the best personal computing experience to students, educators, creative professionals and consumers around the world through its innovative hardware, software and Internet offerings.

List of projects:

1. ITunes system
Users can use the ITunes system for free, they can get the accumulate points by downloading music and movies. At the same time users will be asked to                         evaluate the ITunes system and give the suggestion for the improvement.

2. Ipad experience project
Show some Ipad showpieces to customer.

3. Discount project.
When the people buy another apple produces, they can use a little money to buy an Iphone 4.

4. New products and design
Add the bankroll to make some new products and design to attract more potential customers to buy.

5. Free use 7 days.
Some qualified customer who gets enough membership points can choose an apple computer to use 7days for free, but they cannot mangle them. It is a promotion process to encourage more customers to get points.

Key project-Focus on Itunes

Itunes:
Itunes is a software that can play and manage media files. It can also organize the contents on Apple’s products such as ipod, iphone and ipad. Consumers can connect to the iTunes Store by iTunes Store and they can buy and download music, films and other media files. Moreover, programmers have the permit to sell their applications on iTunes Store and consumers can upload their podcasts to iTunes Store as well.

The key project to achieve the company’s mission is to add some new functions to  Itunes.
The new function is a points system. This system provides points to consumers when they download contents from iTunes Store. Once they have enough points, consumers can exchange the points for paid products. The points systems can help to stimulate consumption and increase the interaction between consumers and iTunes.

1)Backgroud of North West Supplie :
    North West Supplies was launched as a business in March 1999.It provide the outdoor and military garments and facilities ,at the same time it is the  it is the specialist for logo design and embroidery.

Supply side :

According to the description of NWS website, it is the specialist for logo design and embroidery. At first, they can design the logo for different company or organizations, like school, club, company and family. Secondly, they can provide embroidery according to the customers’ option, either use customers’ own garments, or use the readymade clothes of the NWS to do the large productions. So they also have the suppliers.
There are three suppliers; first one is for supplying the raw material and facilities, such as thread, cloth, pins and sewing machine. Second one is the readymade cloth for the volume-produce and selling through the website directly. The third one is renew design, we consider that NWS get the creative logo design by cooperate with other design company.
On the supply side the association between NWS and other companies help NWS get more fresh idea and reduce the cost on other professional area.
  The NWS do procurement from specific business, so the E-business model is B2B.


Sell-side:

   The NWS have to ways to sell their products, through website and warehouse.
   Website: Website is mainly face to the individual customers, at same time it is open to any corporate and organization. Individual consumers usually order or buy small quantity of communities, buy online and pay on line. So this E-business trade to customers is B2C model, otherwise, to the organization is B2B model.
   Warehouse: On their website, NWS welcome any organization and customers to go to their fully refurbished warehouse to see the garments. But the organizations are the dominate customers, because the warehouse is not a shop, hence, facing to too many individuals will bring potential cost increasing. Model is the same as the website which depends on the type of customers. To individual customers is B2C, to organization is B2B.

After NWS introduced their website to consumers, they adopted few business strategies into the website by concerning about customers.

NWS continues to improve the graphic design and navigation by sub-categories in order to offer a user-friendly interface to the consumers. Company also presents featured and latest products to add more information on the website. In addition, NWS split their products into two segments, which are military wear and outdoor wear sectors. As a result, consumers can find out their respective needs on the website with less confusing.
