Itunes is a software that can play and manage media files. It can also organize the contents on Apple’s products such as ipod, iphone and ipad. Consumers can connect to the iTunes Store by iTunes Store and they can buy and download music, films and other media files. Moreover, programmers have the permit to sell their applications on iTunes Store and consumers can upload their podcasts to iTunes Store as well.
The key project to achieve the company’s mission is to add some new functions to Itunes.
The new function is a points system. This system provides points to consumers when they download contents from iTunes Store. Once they have enough points, consumers can exchange the points for paid products. The points systems can help to stimulate consumption and increase the interaction between consumers and iTunes.
